I had to wait days just to hear back from customer service, and when they finally replied, it didn’t really solve my issue. I was kind of left thinking, why is this so complicated? I expected better. It wasn’t the worst experience ever, but it was definitely frustrating

I tried this weight control food for a full month, it might as well have been regular food in a fancier bag. My dog was still acting like she hadn’t eaten in 300 years, begging all day like I was starving her on purpose. She didn’t lose any weight at all, if anything, I swear she looked a little chunkier by the end. For the price, I expected at least some kind of result, not this whole dramatic waste of money. Definitely not buying it again.

I gave this a try a couple of times, but my cat just sniffed it and walked away both times. To be fair, he’s picky, so another cat might be totally fine with it, but for us it didn’t work out.

My dog seems happy with this food, so I guess that’s the main thing. It looks like decent quality to me, though I’m not exactly an expert on dog food or anything. The only thing is the price feels kind of high for how much you get. I’d probably buy it more often if the bags were bigger or there were better deals, even though I’ll still probably grab it sometimes because my dog likes it. It’s not bad at all, just doesn’t feel like the best value.

Seemed to help his stomach some. Not totally fixed, though. Still having a little loose stool here and there.

I bought this for my super picky dog, and to my surprise, he eats it without me having to mix in anything extra. That almost never happens. He actually gets excited around meal time now, which is nice to see. It did take him a few days to fully warm up to it, so I wouldn’t say it was instant perfection, but overall I’m really happy with it. it just feels good knowing he’s enjoying his food.

I bought Solid Gold for my dog because his coat was looking kind of dull, and he had these dry, itchy spots that were really starting to bug him. I know food isn’t always some magic fix, but I figured it was worth trying since a lot of people seemed to like it.

After a few weeks, I will say his fur looked a bit shinier, so I’m not going to act like it did nothing. But the itching didn’t fully stop, i still had to use the stuff from the vet. Maybe it works better for other dogs, but for mine it was more of a partial improvement.

Shipping was fine, and he ate the food without any drama, so no complaints there. I just think it’s a little pricey for results that were kind of mixed. Not saying it’s bad, because it’s not, but I also wouldn’t call it amazing...

There are too many things in it that I’d rather not be feeding my dog, especially for the price. My dog did eat it, so it’s not like he refused it, but I don’t think it’s worth buying again. I also reached out with a question and the response felt like a copy-paste support reply, which didn’t really help my confidence in the brand.

I checked my receipt email the other day and realized we’ve been using this for a little while now. My dog’s poop has definitely gotten better overall, but it’s still kind of soft sometimes. So it’s not perfect, but there has been some improvement.

My dog does seem healthier since switching to this, and the ingredients look decent. It did take him a few days to get used to it, though, which was kind of a hassle because I had to keep easing him into it and deal with the picky eating. I ordered from solidgoldpet.com and the food itself was totally fine, but the packaging wasn’t great. The box showed up half crushed, and one of the bags had a small tear in it. I mean, it’s pet food, so you’d think it’d be packed well enough to avoid that kind of thing. Hopefully they use sturdier packaging next time.

A lot of the products felt kind of similar, and I didn’t really see enough choices for different needs, flavors, or sizes. After browsing for a bit, it just started to feel repetitive.

When I opened the bag, it had a stale smell right away. The expiration date looked fine, so I’m not sure what happened, but something just felt off about it. My cat wouldn’t even touch it, which is unusual. It didn’t seem fresh to me.

I’ve noticed my dog has a bit more pep after meals now. Compared to how he used to act after eating, he seems more lively and ready to move around instead of just lounging.
